We are very happy to present our new folder KSM 22, which is really almost like a box.
This folder is particularly sturdy and suitable for archival objects of less thicknesses, contrary to the clamshell and other box types that require a certain minimum height. The inner flaps, as shown in the second image, provide increased stability of the folder and protect valuable documents and stocks being stored from dust, light and mechanical influences.
The KSM 22 folder is made from our proven conservation materials, KLUG corrugated or archival board, which are acid-free, ageing-resistant and suitable for all kinds of archiving purposes. The folder is available in various sizes and colours.
KSM 22 is a folder with 3 flaps, an additional flap on the lid and with an insertion slot on the side. The flap corners are beveled (45 degrees). The folder has a fixed filling height (thickness). The top/bottom flaps are each 1/4 the height, and the front side flap is 1/4 the width. The width of the cover is equal to the width of the folder. The KSM 22 is an alternative to KLUG expansion (Juris) binders or wraparound boxes.
The following minimum heights apply to this folder:
up to a base area of 310 x 230 mm: 5 mm
up to a base area of 600 x 430 mm: 10 mm
up to a base area of 1400 x 1000 mm: 15 mm
